These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the HomeGuard website and purchases made through HomeGuard.

By accessing our website, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Store Use

You may not use our website or services to:

  • Commit or facilitate fraudulent activity
  • Use stolen or unauthorized payment information
  • Provide knowingly false transaction information
  • Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with website security or operation
  • Abuse discounts, refunds, returns, promotions, or payment disputes
  • Use HomeGuard intellectual property without authorization

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel transactions, restrict access, or investigate activity reasonably suspected to involve fraud, abuse, unauthorized payment activity, or violations of these Terms.

2. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to accurately display product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, specifications, compatibility information, and product features.

Minor differences in color, finish, packaging, appearance, or manufacturing revision may occur where they do not materially change the product.

3. Home Improvement & Safety Products

HomeGuard offers products associated with home improvement, maintenance, home care, safety, monitoring, organization, and related applications.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Reading product instructions and warnings
  • Using products only for their intended purpose
  • Determining suitability before installation or use
  • Using qualified professionals where appropriate
  • Following applicable safety, electrical, building, and installation requirements

Information supplied by HomeGuard is not a substitute for licensed professional advice where professional expertise is required.

4. Prices & Promotions

Prices and promotions may change before an order is placed. Promotional offers cannot be combined unless expressly stated.

5. Order Acceptance

Receiving an order confirmation does not necessarily mean that an order has completed payment verification, fraud screening, inventory checks, or fulfillment review.

HomeGuard may cancel or refuse an order because of:

  • Payment failure
  • Suspected fraud
  • Incorrect customer information
  • Pricing or listing errors
  • Product unavailability
  • Shipping restrictions
  • Legal or regulatory restrictions
  • Suspected promotional or transaction abuse

6. Fraud Prevention & Verification

Orders may be subject to automated or manual verification. HomeGuard may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify billing information, shipping information, customer identity, or payment authorization.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Purchases are also governed by our Shipping Policy. Customers are responsible for supplying complete and accurate delivery information.

8. Returns & Refunds

Returns, refunds, damaged-product claims, and cancellations are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

9. Unauthorized Returns

Sending merchandise back without authorization does not automatically create a right to a refund.

Do not send merchandise to our business mailing address.
Approved returns will receive the correct destination directly from our support team.

10. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Customers experiencing an order issue are encouraged to contact HomeGuard so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve it.

HomeGuard reserves the right to contest payment disputes reasonably believed to be inaccurate, fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with documented transaction records.

Relevant evidence may be supplied to payment processors, banks, card networks, or dispute-resolution providers, including transaction records, fraud-screening information, tracking details, delivery confirmation, customer communications, photographs, and return records.

11. Product Misuse

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HomeGuard is not responsible for loss or damage caused by improper installation, misuse, unauthorized modification, negligence, improper storage, failure to follow instructions, or use outside the product's intended specifications.

12. Third-Party Services

Our store may use independent payment providers, shipping companies, ecommerce applications, analytics providers, advertising services, and other third-party providers that maintain their own terms and policies.

13. Intellectual Property

HomeGuard branding, logos, original photography, graphics, written content, videos, website designs, and other original materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished, sold, or commercially exploited without authorization.

14. Unauthorized Representation

No person or business may represent itself as HomeGuard, Homeguardlabs, an authorized HomeGuard representative, or an authorized reseller without written authorization.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HomeGuard will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of our website or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove, waive, or restrict mandatory consumer rights that applicable law does not permit a merchant to exclude.
