We offer 24/7 Customer Support for all of our customers. Your happiness and satisfaction is our #1 priority.

Cancellation Policy You have 24 hours after placing an order to request a cancellation prior to the order being dispatched. Once the order has already been dispatched, you will have to go through our regular returns policy.

1) Return window

  • You can return unopened, unused items in original packaging within 15 days of delivery for a refund.

  • “Unopened” means all inner pouches, plates, swabs, and seals are intact.

2) What we cannot accept

For health and safety, we cannot accept returns of:

  • Any kit that has been opened, used, or has broken or tamper seals

  • Used testing plates, swabs, or other components that contacted surfaces or air

  • Downloadable items, and gift cards

  • Final sale items marked as such at checkout

We never resell opened kits. This protects customers and keeps results trustworthy.

3) Damaged, defective, or missing parts

  • If your order arrives damaged, defective, or with missing parts, contact us within 7 days of delivery.

  • Please email clear photos and your order number to support@homeguardlabs.com.

  • After review, you may qualify for a full or partial refund. We will confirm eligibility and next steps by email.

4) Bundles, discounts, and free gifts

  • Returning part of a bundle may change bundle pricing. We will recalculate your refund based on the items you keep.

  • Free gifts must be returned unused and unopened. If you keep them, we will deduct their listed value from the refund.

5) How to start a return (RMA required)

  1. Email photos and your order number to support@homeguardlabs.com with a brief description of the issue.

  2. We will reply with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) if a return is approved, plus packing and shipping instructions.

  3. Ship the item back within 14 days of receiving your RMA. Use a trackable service and pack well.

Returns sent without an RMA may be refused at the warehouse.

6) Who pays for shipping

  • If the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, missing parts), we cover return or replacement shipping when applicable.

  • If the return is due to change of mind, the original shipping is non refundable and you are responsible for return shipping. If we provide a prepaid label, we will deduct the label cost from your refund.

7) Refund timing

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method after we receive and inspect the return, usually 5 to 10 business days.

  • We will email you when your refund is processed. Banks and card issuers may take extra time to post it.

8) Lost or stolen packages

  • If tracking shows delivered but you did not receive the package, check with the carrier and neighbors first.

  • If a package is lost in transit, contact us. After the carrier review period (typically 7 to 15 days domestic, up to 30 days international), we will reship.

9) International orders

  • International customers may return unopened items within 15 days. The customer pays return shipping and any duties. Duties and taxes paid at import are handled by your local authority and are not refunded by us.

10) Legal rights

This policy applies in addition to any statutory rights that may apply where you live. If you are in the EU or UK, you may have a 14 day withdrawal right for unused, unopened goods. Hygiene sensitive items with broken seals are excluded.
